The midweek £12 menu has finally come to an end. It has been tricky to maintain keeping quality fresh produce at this price, and recently more people have been eating a la carte during the week anyway, so its simply not worth my while having 2 menus running. The one dish that continued to sell best on the £12 menu was the Goosnargh Chicken breast filled with cream cheese and garlic, so I have transfered it to the a la carte menu and 'upgraded' it to the superior Cornfed chicken breast. So we simply have the a la carte menu available, but I still have a new midweek offer of a half price dessert with every main course purchased. Whether customers have a starter or not, they are entitled to a half price dessert on a tuesday wednesday and thursday evening.

Starters

Soup of the Day (V) £3.95

  Grilled Bury Black Pudding with grain mustard dressed leaves, bramley apple chutney and crisp pancetta £5.50

Hot Potted Shrimps in a gently spiced butter with lemon dressed salad and granary bread £6.50
