Chef / proprietor Adam Ventress welcomes you to Meeting House Restaurant situated on Lancaster's historic Meeting house Lane. Close to the train station and a stones throw from the town centre, we are situated in an ideal location for both the commuter and the local!

In keeping with the established ethos of the restaurant under previous owner Dan Willoughby, we aim to give our customers a taste of some of the excellent produce on their doorstep, by emphasising the use of local suppliers and fresh seasonal ingredients to provide mouthwatering dishes.

We use only the finest local ingredients sourced as close to the restaurant as possible. With the Trough of Bowland, Morecambe Bay and the Lake District on our doorstep we are able to offer you some of the finest produce and ingredients available in the area.

Our suppliers include Burts Butchers, RP Shaw Fishmongers, Wallings of Cockerham, Brades Farm Dairy and Foragers Free Range Pork. All our suppliers use and source the freshest ingredients for us so you the customer get to experience the very best.

We will be more than happy to help you with any enquiry you may have, from arranging that romantic meal for two, to hosting the perfect leaving party for twenty or more! We are happy to discuss any special arrangements you may require.

As all food is freshly prepared on the premises, for bookings of 10 or over, we would normally request a pre order. This will be mutually beneficial in helping with preparation but also in faciliataing the smooth running of your occasion. We are happy to send a copy of the menu either by e mail or post to enable you to do this at your convenience
